I'm looking for every information about this camp in Germany. If you have photos, letters/cards or documents - it would be nice to share them here.

My grandfather was prisonnier of war in this camp from juli to december 1940. I have soms documents of him from this periode. I'm interested to see yours.

C'est magnifique ...

J'ai lu Kommando II/125 - C'etait un kommando dans la region d'Ueckermünde. Il a ecrit qu'il etait au Altwarp - ca va bien avec II/125.

J'ai possede un livre sur Albert Bockstael qui etait aussi a II/125 á Altwarp. Il y a un livre special de cet kommando - 'Ons helpend hand'

Il y a autres kommandos aussi?

J'ai une liste d'une cinquantaine de prisonniers du stalag 2C avec que mon grand père a fréquenté. Albert Bockstael était dans sa chambre (stube 13 bis) à Altwarp.



Il était bon ami avec Bockstael et deux autres prisonniers : Jadoul et Spillaert. J'ai plusieurs écrits de mon grand-père dans lesquels leurs noms apparaissent (sketch, discussions sur la vie de prisonnier, …). Je ne sais pas mettre des photos de tout ici mais je peux t'envoyer des copies des documents.



Il y a des choses incroyables comme cette peau de serpent qu'ils ont tué à Greifsvalt :





As tu les noms des hommes qui sont sur tes deux photos? Ils ont du connaître mon grand-père. Je n'ai pas de photo de lui en stalag. Peux-être en as tu dans les tiennes. Le voici en 1939 et 1940 :

My grandfather Theo De Mulder also was in Stalag II C. But in Anklam, Working in a woodworking shop. There he met a scottish soldier. James will follow once I'm back home.
