Greatcoats or tunics worn in 1940 ?

Hello,

during the fighting in 1940 did Belgian troops wear their greatcoats (as i assumed) or tunics ?

I've seen some 15mm WW2 Belgian figures by Quick Reaction Force, that have them in tunics only.

Previous posts of photos and reenactors in this forum have Belgian troops in greatcoats.

I'm confused ! was the wearing of greatcoats optional especially in hot weather , or did army regulations permit this ?

Greatcoats and tunic were worn at the same time.

sometimes the tunic would not be worn underneath the greatcoat if given order (in hot weather for example)
